Our mission is to help shape the future of dog training by promoting positive training methodologies at the direct expense of outdated traditional compulsion-based methods. We do this by leveraging the popularity of the Victoria Stilwell Positively brand to increase the visibility and profitability of our members’ businesses.

Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Training is committed to providing the highest quality humane, reward-based, professional dog training practices. We help the public to better understand how the domestic dog’s mind works, to communicate more effectively with our canine companions using positive reinforcement, to foster healthier relationships between dog and owner, and to encourage responsible dog ownership.

A Personal Message

As a dog trainer who has been blessed to have worked all over the world, I have grown increasingly aware of the public’s need for a unified voice to help them as the seek qualified, experienced, humane and force-free dog training advice. There is a huge amount of misinformation out there and many trainers still unfortunately still practice questionable and dangerous methods – including those who call themselves ‘positive’ trainers but continue to employ aversive, compulsion-based methods which use pain and intimidation. Of all our initiatives, I remain proudest of VSPDT and the work that this amazing group of trainers does around the world to help shape the future of dog training.  — VICTORIA STILWELL
